NASHVILLE, Tenn.— GRAMMY®-nominated NewSong recently brought their Winter Jam Tour Spectacular to a capacity crowd of nearly 16,000 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Hosts of Christian music’s largest annual tour, NewSong took the stage to debut several new selections, including “One True God,” the title-cut from their highly-anticipated forthcoming release.

This year's tour, produced by Premier Productions and presented by Holt International, features the most artists and dates in its 16-year history. Along with NewSong, Winter Jam includes performances from Newsboys; David Crowder Band; Kutless; Francesca Battistelli; RED; KJ-52, and guest speaker Tony Nolan. In addition, the show includes a Pre-Jam Party presented by the American Bible Society with Sidewalk Prophets, Chris August, Chris Sligh (select dates) and Jason Castro (select dates).

Since kicking-off January 7 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the 2011 Winter Jam Tour Spectacular has seen a 23% overall increase in attendance from last year. The 47-city tour will conclude April 3 in Peoria, Illinois.

NewSong’s 28 years in ministry have yielded 17 albums; 20 #1 singles; a Dove Award; and a GRAMMY® Award nomination, among numerous other achievements. The band’s latest recording, One True God (HHM Records/EMI CMG Distribution), is slated for release in May.
